Engines

These objects select and configure the engine used to execute a query when calling LazyFrame.collect(), LazyFrame.execute() or a LazyFrame.sink_* method with an engine argument, or when set through Config.set_engine_affinity().

Engine()	Base class for query execution engines.
InMemoryEngine(*[, monitoring])	Execute queries fully in memory.
StreamingEngine(*[, monitoring])	Execute queries in a streaming fashion, supporting larger-than-memory data.
GPUEngine(*[, device, memory_resource, ...])	Execute queries on the GPU.
RemoteEngine([context, scaling_mode, ...])	Execute queries remotely on Polars Cloud.
