polars.delete_iceberg

polars.delete_iceberg(target: str | pyiceberg.table.Table, predicate: Expr) → None

Delete the rows matching a predicate from an Iceberg table.

Warning

This functionality is currently considered unstable. It may be changed at any point without it being considered a breaking change.

Parameters:

target

Name of the table or the Table object representing an Iceberg table.

predicate

Boolean expression selecting the rows to delete. Rows for which it evaluates to null are kept, as with DataFrame.remove().
